This is interesting,

A coleague of mine here got a slip printer in today that she is trying to get working for one of her customers. It is printing the information but all the information is upside down and backward. She has tried every conceivable way to hold the slip but to no avail. She was wondering if there was a way to tell the printer to print upside down and backward (so as to correct the problem). I figured if there was a way someone here would know how. Thanks in advance for your help.

Unlike windows printers, receipt printers and slip printers do not conform to any particular "Standard". Each manufacturer (Epson, Seiko, Star, etc.) have their own cute little tricks about what the printer is capable of and how to tell it to do what you want.

The mechanisms range from setting DIP switches to using special control fonts to sending Escape codes to the printer. You need to identify which make and model that you have and then go to their WEB site for the documentation (if you don't already have it) for that particular printer.

Thanks, that is sort of what I figured, she already had been talking about dips so I guess she has this. Thanks again.
