Slight delay when opeing attachments in Outlook 2000

Hi,

When ever you double click to open an attachment in Outlook there is a pause of 2-3 seconds and then the files will open. Is there a setting within Outlook or the registry that controls this.

No as far as I am aware, this is just the normal delay in opening files from a network.

It may also be your a/v software having a little peek before opening the file.
