Skipped files not appearing in Job Log

I'm having a problem where I'm getting some (not all) skipped files in backup jobs, but the files are not being specified in the Job Log.

Yep, no error messages, just an indication of 1 skipped file. When I go to the Client agent log, I can see the file name, with an error code of RC=32.

Other skipped files are showing up in the Job Log for other Jobs.

This is a bit disconcerting, to say the least. Anyone know anything about this?

ARCserve 2K on NT4, SP3 all around, doing backups remotely with the NT client agent. I've seen this on both NT4 and W2K target machines.

I am having this problem as well and am needing a complete list of the skipped files. The log contains some info on files skipped but the summary indicates a much higher number of skipped files. using arcserve 2000 sp4 backing up nt4 sp6 machines with nt client agent.

More than likely that file is open.
You need to install the approiate "open file agent" on the server, ie...."novel, w2k, oracle" etc.
