Is there a behaviour or something that can detect what size the browser screen is running in (e.g. 800 x 600 or better).

What resolution would users recommend designing pages for? My pages look very differently (obviously) when viewed in 800 x600 compared to my normal screen.

cheers

I would design for 800x600 and you will be safe. If you make the table so they expand to 100% you can make it look good in larger resolutions as well. If you have a site that is based in graphics then use 800x600.

These are the March stats for over 205 million users all over the world.
Code:
205,928,352 Visitors

Resolutions:
 800x600 88501336 (53%)
1024x768 52167556 (31%)
 640x480 9740988 (5%)
1280x1024 5511732 (3%)
1152x864 4775300 (2%)
1600x1200 884709 (0%)
