Using CR 8.5 with SQL. I have a chart that I have developed and am using a legend along the bottom of the chart. Now I want to make the chart larger. So I have enlarged the group footer and enlarged the chart to fit inside the footer. My problem is this...when I enlarge the chart, the legend also gets larger. I would like the legend to stay as close to the original size as possible so that the chart has the majority of the space in the footer. Is there a way to make the legend smaller while making the chart itself larger?

Thanks..

hi pleashelp,

Yes - there is a way - in the Design view - left click on the graphic portion of the chart - if done successfully you will see some very small black squares around the outside of the graphic - putting your pointer over them will give you a two directional arrow, allowing you to resize the graphic inside the chart boundaries.

I hope this helps!
