I'm putting the finishing touches on my simple Time Card database. I shut off all of the startup options I could so I get a stripped down application window. I also maximize my one form at startup so that my form fills the application window, which is nice.

The creme de la creme would be if I could specify the size of Access's application window at startup, so it was just big enough to display my form. Also, I'd love to turn off the ability to resize Access's window and only leave the "close" and "minimize" buttons active. Is this possible? If not directly through Access, then some other Window's technique?

Thanks!
Rich

Try setting your opening window to Restore and then dragging the size of the window to where you want. Maximizing windows in Access has just brought me grief.

I don't see how Restore will help me set my Access window to a fixed size at start up. It only restores a window to its previous state.

The Restore size is variable. Set the size of the form window then hit Ctrl S to save the form to that size. Works for me.

I may be missing something here, but I'm not trying to specify the size of a form, but rather the size of Access' _application_ window. E.g., I don't want the user to be able to stretch the size of Access or to maximized it. I only want them to be able to Minimize Access or to Close it. I also want the program's window to startup at a specified size.
