I hava a report in VFP7 that contains a .bmp file that has the property 'scale picture, retain shape'.
With most users the picture displays as intended, but with one user the picture dispays too small.
Why the difference?
Well the obvious question is what's different for this user? Is it the same for all .BMP's or just a specific one? (What's different with this .BMP file? There are many different internal variants of .BMP files.) Are the VFP runtime files the same version? Is it the same OS? Does it have the same OS updates applied? Is the OLE server for .BMPs defined the same? Does it have the same 3rd party applications installed? (More or less?)
It's likely not a VFP "problem", but one of a different application that has changed (updated or even reverted) a file critical to VFP's ability to display the .BMP file.
I wonder whether that one user has some unusual program associated with .bmp files. Does Paint open on that PC if you double-click a bmp file in Explorer?
