Hi,

Have a working site to site vpn and remote access to site A.
I want the clients connecting to Site A to have access to one server att site B. I know how to get this to work on cisco asa/pix but cant get it to work on 1812 <--> 871 with ios 12.4.

Anyone have any clue, a push in direction would be fantastic ( a url even more )

Marty

Hello
You can give the SDM a try as far as the basic step. Then you can clean up the file.
Lot's of people don't like the GUI,but it's quick and it does work.
Regards

cool,

Whats the feature i am looking for? And more important, where should i look?

The feature is called SDM---there are 2 file types---one for setup on your computer to connect to the router via browser (needs Java installed), and one that works on the router itself (.tar file you upload into the flash directory). As far as where to look...good question...

Hehe,

Yeah the SDM i know ( almost the same as asdm )

Well i suppose i need to search some more =)

So, there are 3 sites? Remote site is able to connect to site A, but you need them to connect to site B?

Burt

2 sites A and B. Remote clients connect to site A. Instead of having them connect to site B i would like to route them thru the AB tunnel when connected to site A

I know this has been an issue with the security appliance but with the release of version 7 its solved.

I assume that the isr boxes can handle this =)

Sorry for all the questions---what is at Site A and Site B? Where is the 871, 1841, and the ASA?

Burt

=)

its friday thats for sure!

1. There is no asa/pix in this scenario. I was just using them for example. When using pix/asa i know what to do and get this to work. I cant get it to work with the isr boxes.

2. A is isr1812 and B isr871. Clients vpn to Site A and want to access servers at site B. I want the clients to be routed thru the vpn tunnel between A and B.

Better now =D

Look kid---this is what you said...
"Have a working site to site vpn and remote access to site A."
This means that you already have one, or so it can be assumed. Then you say you don't know how to get one working, but you do with a PIX/ASA...but you have none, which means that you have no VPN? So do you want someone to configure this for you? No need to get an attitude bro---this is like a FREE clinic...here's your link.

Good luck. Can't wait for Monday...lol.

Burt

hey burt i am sorry but i didnt mean to be rude or anything. I was just smiling because of the misunderstandings. I thought i was pretty clear about what i wanted but that was not the case...

This really took a wrong turn somewhere along the road.
