Site Review

Just wondering if ya'll can take a look at the site i've been doing work on for a local car club. Let me know what you like or hate. I'm also not sure if it looks okay on all browsers, so please let me know your browser if you spot a problem.

The site is trying to mimick a blurprint look and feel.

very nice work rizza! The only suggestion I would make would be to have the banner graphics not repeat or at least limit the number of times it will repeat. After a while it gets a bit destracting.

You did a damn good job. Wish I could customize that phpBB as well as you did. My CSS is kindergarden level.

I'm curious about how big that Flash grapic is in kb?

just really hard to read--dark blue on light blue

if your site has any important info from me i can guarantee you i wont sit there and read it but just close the browser and go along my day.

Thanks for all the input guys, I have a few repsonse's / questions.

Roughy...The Flash Graphic is = 15kb. I actually made it in some old version of Swish.

ReeCee..i've said that to them from day one about the font color...any suggestions of colors to help???

And i wasnt sure if anyone even noticed but everone of those &quot;blueprint&quot; corners is never the same their always changing...just wonderd if any noticed.

on that blue i would guess a WHITE text would work. Maybe even a deep orange or any light color would suffice. Seeing how the bacground is such a deep blue i would probably go with a pearl white or even maybe a yellow or green shade. In my preference tho im not a big fan of dark backgrounds. I think its easier to read dark text on a light background than vice versa. If i had to choose i would go black text on white background 90% of the time (or at least some variation of those colors).

I definitly aggree with light on dark, if you look around the mesage board i think i was able to pull that off a little bit.

nice site _ i think the layout is nice and easy on the eyes, colors are good (except maybe change the font color like said earlier and the banner al;ways recurring)
i viewed on IE6, 56k modem 1024res, everything loaded really quickly and looks good.

Thanks, it's good to here things load fast since most of the grpahic layout's ..ie banners, and tables are all servide functions that i worked on.

I'll do some work and let all take a look.
