Is there a way to create a site path (e.g like the one on this site that does something like .....Home > Forums > Programmers > Graphics & Web Tools >.... depending on where you are in the site) without having to do it manually on each page?

I have a site that reuses some of the same pages, but linked from different sections within the site. So doing it manually wouldn't work unless I dupliated the same pages, which would be a pain.

It's not a database driven site, just HTML.

Cheers

not without using some server-side scripting to read the file paths.

it's called a breadcrumb trail, btw.

-u can use the 'templates' or 'snips' or 'library items'

Hey mawilliams!
On the serious note, using a small DB is the best way to generate dynamic content and if u use a standalone DB (like Access) u dont need a 'db server' so ur really not putting yourself at expnse. Otherwise we are looking into HTML "copy-paste alike" apporach that can be used as described above.
Look up DW help on keywords:'templates' or 'snips' or 'library items'
that should get u going!
All the best!

Yeah I was going to use Libary Items to do it before anyway, but I thought I'd best ask the question, just to see if there was an easier way of doing it. As you said, I was just being lazy.

Thanks for your advice anyway.
