Hi everyone.
We're trying to connect an Ip Office Server Edition to a Unify OpenScape Business X8 via sip trunk but theres some issues in the unify side for the config. Does anyone have some knowledge about the OpenScape to confirm that this kind of connection is supported? Theres no way to route the calls to the sip trunk even though the connection seems to be estrablished and the trunk active.

Thanks!

Du you see invites coming from unity to IPO?

The weird thing is (and that's mainly why i had to ask about this) theres no config available on the Unify PBX to route the calls towards the "native sip trunk" configured.
My theory is that its some kind of "SCN" connection and its closed between Unify Systems.
I can call towards the unify PBX and access one of its voicemails but wasnt able to configure and tell the system "what to do" with that incoming call.

Hi,

The Unify OpenScape Business X8 officially supports SIP trunk connections with third-party PBX systems like Avaya IP Office. You can set up a Native SIP Trunk by configuring the remote IP and port, without registration, and properly setting call routing (LCR) and dial plans.

Here are some useful official guides and resources for SIP trunk configuration:

If the trunk shows active but calls don’t route, check your routing tables and dial plans carefully, as well as number formatting.

Hope this helps!

Thx i'll check it out, but its a little more reassuring to have confirmation that it is supported.
