Hi,
We want to setup a SIP network form a CS1000E to a Siemens and an Alcatel PBX. Anyone who have done it?
1. Does it work?
2. What kind of functionality can I expect?
3. Things to be aware of?

I don´t know the types of siemens and aclatel systems. For now I just asume that they are SIP compatible.

yes it works.. users will not know the notice any change. some sites have path replacement problems during intergration.. be sure to test all transfer options prior to going live

SIP is general nomenclature for a whole bunch of different standards (RFCs). Most of those RFCs have optional implementations. Every vendor will implement things slightly differently. Even between releases on the same vendor, there may be different implementations. This is NOT yet a plug-and-play scenario and you definitely cannot "assume" anything. Your best bet is to find out excatly what release is running on your CS1000E and the Siemens/Alcatel system and go to both vendors which will be interconnected and ask for specific configuration guides.
