Can anybody tell me what I would need to deploy a couple of remote handsets (4602) to connect to s8300/G700 CM3?

Does SIP need a CCS proxy server?

thanks for any help

The 4602 phones can work as H.323 or SIP. If it is setup for H.323, you won't need anything except for power. If it is set up as SIP, then yes you will need a SIP proxy server like CCS.
