HI All

Looking to see if it is possible to connect an IP Office to a Siemens HiPath4000 PBX via SIP trunks. Has anyone done this at all or to another manufacturers system. Any help on this would be great. I have a customer that has a Siemens in India and wants to tie it into a site here in the US.

Hi Dan,

We've done this via H.323 trunk. Don't know about the setup on the Siemans side of things, but on the IPO it was just a standard H.323 trunk, all default settings, and the IP of the other end. Set your codecs to G.711 and send it over a VPN tunnel. Needs Voice Networking Licences though.
