Is anybody using non Avaya SIP phones with 8710?????

I use X-Lite SIP Softphone and some off brand SIP Hardphones I bought on EBAY. I don't have them in production just a testing environment.

I forgot to mention I also have Cisco 7961 IP phones running SIP on the Avaya.

thanks do you have the all the handset features as you would using an Avaya IP phone?

you can't get the features since the phone is not a native set & it only talks to the SBC not the CM

well, if it's outside the internal network, only 3 call apperences.

if it's internal then you get very basic features ( i cant remember which ones)
