Helloo Team!
I have Avaya ip office 500v2 we installed Avaya Ip end points and the phone havebeen installed are 1616 model with 1608 phone are configured using H323 ..

Now my client wants to intergrate IP OFFICE 500V2 With xocom PABX On xocom side the licence installed are SIP Licence .
My First question is it possible to install SIP Licence on AVAYA IP OFFICE 500V2 While there are are Licence of Ip end points and phone configured using H323 ?

My second question is
If it is possible to install on the same senarior(avaya ip end ponits licence with SIP licence) ,,so we should configure again all the phone to SIP ? or....

NB :The requirements of SIP is only for VOICE NETWORKING inorder to esterblish(SIP TRUNK) channel between Avaya ip office 500v2 and xocom PABX.

Better consult your vendor or Avaya directly, too complex for you to be answered here....

There is no SIP software for 1608/1616. They will have to stay as H.323.

You'll need SIP trunk licenses for the amount of calls going over the trunk, it has nothing to do with which endpoints you have, and voice networking has nothing to do with a SIP trunk if you're referring to the SCN feature.

I predict that in the near future we'll have a "How do I configure SIP trunk between IPO and Xocom" thread.

I have communicate with our vendor what he said it is possible to install SIP cause sip can deals only on TRUNK on that scenario ...... v

Thanks all of you for your advice....
