SIP Code 480 - Temporarily Unavailable

IPO 500 V2, 6.1(5) using SIP trunks

Call is placed to a non-working number and the caller gets "Waiting for Line".

I have done a trace and see "SIP/2.0 480 Temporarily Unavailable" come back from the provider.

Is there a way for the IPO to provide a fast busy or anything else for that matter when it sees the "480" message from the provider?

Tried an alternative route in the ARS? put the timer on 5 sec

It is a provider problem, they should return either a 404(not found) or a 420(Bad Extension) code.
 
I have a ticket open with the ITSP. When they see a bad response they should in turn just have an intercept message stating "The number you have called is no longer in service".

I will keep you all posted..
