Folks,
I am having a problem with incoming SIP calls dropping after about 30 seconds of the call being live
This happens for all incoming calls every time.
All calls are routed by DDI to extension. No Auto attendant
Also, when it happens the Avaya handset does not realise that the call is dropped.
This is only for inbound calls.
I believe the problem is with the provider. SIP wireshark logs attached.

Whats the router / firewall?

Cisco? Disable any SIP and H323 inspects and disable the global timers for said protocols.

Also ensure your NAT rules is working for port 5060. Almost sounds like NAT is closing the signalling port due to inbound NAT not working.

I have the same issue. It's a bug. IP Office does not respond to a SIP INVITE packet sent from provider.

I've seen this is 7.0 (27), 8.0(16), 8.0(18) and 8.0(42). This does not happen in 7.0(23) and 7.0(31).

interesting on the firmware version. I know how to upgrade a firmware version, but how do you roll back ? I have 8.0(42) installed and have 7.0(31) downloaded.
Thanks in advance

@VanZenden. You are right. Just rolled back and now it works.
that is very annoying.

we have had the same problem.
take a look at the challenge expite time on the Sip registar tab.
we had to change it to 10 sec.
