Sip Analog Devices from IP 500

We have an IPO 500 at 4.1.15 - will move to 5.0 when needed for this project. We have several off-site locations that we need to provide analog service to, for fax lines, SLP's and analog trunks into older PBX's (Avaya Partner). Can we do this with SIP and or VoIP endpoints? Has anyone had success doing something like this? What endpoints did you use? Also, we do not want to have a bank of FXS equipment at the IP Office location, just analog terminal equipment at the distant end. Thanks!

The AudioCodes MP112 can do that, two alog stations with T.38 FoIP enabled and registered as SIP extensions on IP Office 5.0.

Most FXS works on H323 and SIP, both need the same license best thing to do is upgrade to 5.0(8), the 4.1.15 is rather old and have some bug.

If you wan't most of all the AVAYA functions the it's best to use a normal IP phone with a hard VPN or use Remote VPN software loaded in the 5610 or 5621.

Hm, it is new for me that a VPN phone can send faxes...

intrigrant, in the 5621 on top you can put the paper in and when you receive a fax it will come out of the bottom.

Sorry misread you question he only wan't a fax to work?!
