siolaris Installation problem

Hi,

Iam trying to install solaris 8 (Intel) but when i boot from the cd it runs configuration asst then ask from where to boot cd or disk after giving cd it says interactive or custom jump start then i select interactive , i get messg saying booting kernal then imm it reboots and same above steps repeats.. what could be the problem? my solaris 8.0 is 02/02 ( feb 2002) iam installing on p4. any advice plz.

Could be your NIC card. Have you tried removing it then building it without the card?

I had a similar problem and this fixed it!
