Single stepping debugger

How do you run the program with a single-stepping debugger?
I am using visual studio 6.

What is going on in this forum. If you can't figure out how to run the debuger by selecting "Help" from the menu then how are you going to develop C/C++ code?

A) Set a breakpoint where you want to start debugging from
B) Press the F5 key
C) When the breakpoint fires press F10 to single step

You might be able to help me out here, I do not have msdn library on my PC, the cd is cracked, therefore my help is more or less useless to me. Is there any way of downloading the msdn library?

It's available online But the Visual C++ help might have been installed with the typical installation and that part of help could be available.
