Single quotes

I have an interesting situation and I am not sure what to do. It seems one of my vendors has a anti spam software that is blocking the emails being sent from my company because of the following reasons. If you notice in what i placed at the end of this post there is a single quote in the comment field of the address to box. I understand that the only email address the email servers look at is what is in the angle brackets. is there anyway to set it so that the comment field does not put in single quotes?

To: “’bob@johnson.COM’” <bob@johnson.COM>,

“’ted@johnson.COM’” <ted@johnson.COM>
