Hi,

I am having cisco 3662 router.The fast ethernet fa0/1 is connected to the switch(cisco 4006)This sunday we had switched off the switch and found fa0/1 which was previously up is showing Line protocol down.I made the interface fa0/1 up but still not coming up.

What would be the problem....tomorrow i am going to switch on the switch and check.

Pls help.

The switch is down. That's why the interface is down.
