Hello All,

I've been away from Access for over a year now and I have forgotten the basics. Here's the scenario, I have a text box that contains the difference of two dates, it's in minutes. On the same form I have another text box that is part of a table. I need to copy the time difference into that second text box, essentially putting it into the table. This means i will have the inital time, the final time and the difference all in one table. I know this is simple i just can't remember.

Any help is appreciated,
NG

in the forms BEFORE UPDATE event put:

txtYourTableTextBox = txtYourTimeYouWantToCaptureTextBox

this will take the one value and copy it to the other text box when the user moves to the next/prev record.

Is it needed? More often then not the norm is to calculate dates and the like on the fly instead of store the results.

I suspect that you have the wherewithall to decide

Is this enough? let us know if not JerseyBoy

i did the above and got a "can't find macro error". Is the above syntax correct?
