Simple Query question 1

Hello,

Running a simple query in my application to drive a report that shows all equipment which has been dropped off for repair.

I want to show also all equipment that has been dropped off, but not yet picked up. Having difficulty with what can be in the criteria field for the "Date Picked Up" field: I've tried: <> "" then = "" then IsNull but get Data Type mismatch errors ...

How to do this?
