hi all,
im looking to start by creating a simple home page using xml. i've gotten to grips with applying stylesheets to the xml document but i'm still not sure how im supposed to create the home page using the language. xml is a means to structure and store data when the only thing i want for my homepage is a few pictures and texts. any help would be greatly appreciated. i've attached a screenshot of the homepage so any feedback would be of major help.

HTML would be the other way which i'm familiar with already. but i know this can be done using xml and i would love it if you could shed some light into this for me as i'm just starting on xml. thanks

ive looked at the tutorial and the second example where the coding begins with an xml declaration but has the html tags. that makes it xhtml right? my question is, would it be possible to create my hompage using xml without the html tags which eventually makes it coding using xhtml and not xml. and thanks for the links.

Did you see the second tutorial? There are two even if I labeled both as "Tutorial 1".

At the end of the transformation, you will need html tags.

Cheers,
Dian
