I have researched this everywhere.
My boss (from the same computer at work) happened to send himself an email from his Outlook Express 6 home email account to his work email address on Outlook 2003. For some reason he keeps them in the 2 separate email programs at work, anyway.....He uses a certain font, and when he received this email in Outlook, it did not come formatted with this font. We have checked all the settings that I know of, send in HTML, etc. He then sent it to me, and I did not get it in his font (I have the same font on my computer also). He's being very particular about this and wants to make sure that other people receiving his email, receive it in the format he sends it. The font is Tohama, which is a windows TTF, so everyone should have it. Can anybody point me in the right direction as to why this would be happening? It's one of those simple questions that I just can not resolve and it's driving me crazy!

So when you send a message with a different font, say Garamond or Comic Sans, does Outlook Express receive the email and preserve the font? Also, what happens when you send an HTML link or use a different font like Times New Roman from Outlook Express to Outlook?

Hi cdogg,
Links come thru in Tahoma, the font comes through as Times New Roman. All other fonts used come through as the correct font in both email programs.
I'm not sure why this is such an issue to him, but we all have our things.
Thanks for you additional questions to help me solve this.
