Silence Ringing

I have a user that wants her m3902 phone not to ring audibly. She does want the red light to flash. When I change her key 0 dn to scn the light does not flash and the lowest volume setting on the phone still rings. Any Ideas......

change it back to scr and cut the speaker lead

Post the TNB. The phone should not ring if you truely have it set to SCN.

When the phone is scn it does not ring. The light does not flash either. I want the light to flash and no audible ring.

yykroon-we thought of that, but thougt we'd see if there is another way before tearing into a phone...

that is the perfect telephone man answer....old-school

we decided to go to a m9316 analog phone. It has an option on the phone to turn the ringer off. Thanks to all.
