I have a User that is using Sidekick for Windows Version 2. I beleive his database is now corrupt. The only portion of the program he uses is the calendar (At least thats what he told me.) I am not really familiar with the program. Every time he tries to open the program, it hangs at the startup screen, until you do an end task. Then if you look at the C:\SKW2 directory you will find a *.tmp file that is a large file. (The size is dependent on how long you waited to do the end task.) I've had the size up to 500 MB.
This user has been asking me for 2 day's to get his data back, but I have been unsuccessful.

Any thoughts would be appreciated
Thanks

Dear error301,

There appears to be little info on Calendar corruption in SDK95 but here is a page for SDK98 that might help and you can access the other Sidekick pages on the site using the search feature Regards Jim

Dear error301,

Check in the Userdata folder for a file named:

Untitled.SKCard

If there is one then Copy any other Cardfile (They all end with .SKCard)
and then Paste it back into the userdata folder and rename it:

Untitled.SKTmpCard

Then try to reopen Sidekick
HTH Regards Jim
