I'm using sidekick 99 on win 2000. The daily tasks list does not forward the undone tasks to the next day. Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a fix?

anyway), there isn't usually a problem with
the tasks.
Todo's not forwarding is the usual problem.
check out faq807-2098
This will give you the addresses at
Starfish and you can check out the
answers they give
Starfish just say that Sidekick came out
before Win2000 so it isn't their problem
if it doesn't work!
This is the page at the Starfish site:
check out this forum using advanced search
at the top of the page for any other posts
on the same subject
e.g. (sdk99 + WIN2000 + tasks)

I have been reading on this and my experience with Sidekick on the Windows 2000 OS is:
Sidekick 99 will operate but the ToDo items will not forward. There doesn't seem to be a patch or any cure for this. A reference at Starfish had a procedure for setting the date back to make sure that there was a new read by the program so it would know to forward them.
Sidekick 98 seems to work. I haven't done a lot of testing. You can download the skw98sea.exe (sidekick 98) and the patch sk98patch.exe (the data has is here from James33). I installed and ran the patch before launching Sidekick 98 the first time. So far so good.
Why 98 will work and 99 won't I don't know. 99 was a scaled down version. I am looking at a couple of newer PIM’s to see how they compare. I’ll post my findings here.
