Hi all,

I discovered this forum today and just in time. I have encountered the...

"Invalid file to complete this action! mast:wk"

error with my copy of Sidekick 95. On the Starfish site,it claims that the only way to solve this problem is to upgrade to Sidekick 98, and then to install the SK98Patch.exe patch. Is this really the only solution? I would like use Sidekick 95 if at all possible, as I have software to synch its files with my HP 200LX palmtop (this software does not support later Sidekick versions). I have been using Lotus Organizer and MS Schedule+ for this purpose, but Sidekick 95 seems to be superior to them in several ways. Hence, I'd certainly like to switch to Sidekick 95 if I can get around this problem. So, I look forward to hearing the collective wisdow of this group concerning this topic. Thanks!

Dear spiderprof,
Sidekick98 had the option (inbuilt) to sync with a Palm Pilot and if you went to the website of Starfish you could get the software to sync to a Windows CE device.
Unfortunately they realized that the program had more uses (it become TruSync) and when Motorola took over Sidekick they discontinued that part of the program in relation to Sidekick.
If you can find someone who downloaded that particular program you could install it with Sidekick98 so post a new question along the lines of:
"Has anybody got the program to sync Sidekick98 with Windows CE devices"
HTH Regards Jim
