Since clean installing Windows 7 RC I have noticed the size of my Sidebar Gadgets (Weather, Photos, and Clock) have increased by about a quarter in their size compared to the original Beta, and Vista for that matter. Yet later downloaded Gadgets (LifeCam) display at the previous old size.

I was wondering if others have seen this, or is it just confined to my install?

I have submitted a bug report but I'm not sure whether it is or is not.

I have not noticed this on the RC install I have set up. I have even RDP'd to the Windows 7 install and had the session set to full screen on my second monitor at the same resolution that my Vista install is set at. After dragging the Vista gadgets (Clock, Calendar, and Weather) over top of the Windows 7 gadgets, they seem to size up equally.

Thanks for the reply.

Microsoft said they couldn't reproduce it in their later builds available to them too.

I am wondering if it happened to me because I used Easy Transfer to grab my user accounts settings from Windows 7 Beta to Windows 7 RC?
