Does anyone know how I can shut off SNMP for Windows 2000 server? In case you aren't aware there are major security issues with SNMP and since it's not a feature I currently use I'd simply like to turn it off.

What security issues you ask? Read here:

Go into services, stop snmp and set it to manual. This way the service does not start unless you manually start it from either services or from the command prompt.

Thanks. I guess I missed it because I don't have SNMP installed on most of my servers, just my exchange box.
