Showing Layers dependant on items in a list box

I'm trying to show different layers dependant upon the selection of an item in a list box.
i.e. I've got six layers and six list items (one, two, three, four, five, and six). When I select item six I want layer six to be shown and all other layers to be hidden.

Can anyone help??

well its simple on the lists onChange event you have to hide and show these layers
its is as simple as that

you have to make 2 functions that will hen help you do so
