Show text/region/layer with change of select box

Hi All,

I am wondering if the following is possible -
I am trying to have a menu/list change and depending on what is chosen, it will show 1 of 3 resolutions. I do not have any database associated with it, so I cannot use any recordset (which I know how to do this.)

Basically, if someone selects 1 in the list, it will only show answer 1. If they select 2, it will only show answer 2, etc..

If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be appreciated.

no db then your best choice is something like javascript on client side.
