Show SMTP Address Instead of Display Name

This is probably something very simple I'm overlooking, or entirely impossible in Outlook 2000...

When picking names from an Outlook contact folder as recipients in a new email message, it shows "John Smith (Email)". Is there an option in Outlook or in the SMTP configuration so that it will show "johnsmith@whatever.com"?

In your contacts, remove the name of the contact and replace it with the email address if that makes more sense to you.
