Hi!

In my taskbar there is the 'quickstart'toolbar.
In normal there is a button on that toolbar that min. all open windows so showing the desktop.

Sudden that button disappeared while the toolbar is still there.
I can't get the button back.

Is there a way to?

Other users on the machine still have this button.

The Show Desktop application can be found in the \i386 folder. Just drag and copy it to your quick launch bar.

Open Notepad and enter the following text:

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

Save the new file as Show Desktop.scf then drag and drop the icon on the Quick Launch bar or whatever location you want the shortcut to appear.

Search your computer for "Show Desktop" file and make sure it is in the "Quick Launch" folder. Locate this folder at
Documents and Settings/ xxxxxuser name/ Application Data/ Microsoft/ Internet Explorer/ Quick Launch.

You should have a copy of the file for each and every user on your system. Just copy and paste it for the user who is missing it.
