Show caller busy/on call?

On my old Nortel system, when I'd call someone who was on another call, the screen would show me they're on another call. Is there an option for this in Avaya IP Office?
I would like to know if the person I'm calling is on another call and have that info displayed on my IP Phone screen.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Do not think you can do this without a user button for that user programmed on your phone.

Can't do this without a button, I have asked several times and raised various GRIP requests, all say "it's coming".... but it never does

I have also done GRIP at least five years ago to no avail. This is the biggest complaint when coming to IPO from a non-Avaya system.

What's really annoying is that they don't have the balls to tell you "No, we can't do it", they instead just start completely ignoring you and any requests for status of the request etc....they all go unanswered, getting mad just thinking about it now...
