I have a remote user running XP. He's connecting to our WS2003 TS. I would like to place a shortcut on his TS desktop that maps to a folder on his client machine C: drive.

I've tried opening the client C: from TS explorer, selecting the folder, and 'send to desktop' to create a shortcut. This works for the currect session. But when I log him off from TS and then he logs back in, the shortcut doesn't work. I made sure the folder is fully shared and granted all rights.

Any ideas how to accomplish this? The idea is a quick way to tranfer mail messages and other files.
