I've installed Google talk on my Vista computer. In the start menu under all programs, there is a folder for Google talk, but the shortcut to the actual application isn't in there. Initially, I thought it may be a Google v Microsoft squabble, but the same thing happened when I installed Visual Studio.
Has anyone else noticed this problem? Maybe there's a setting I missed in the install?
The applications are there. I can find it and put a shortcut in the right place, but why should I do that if it's something that Vista should do for me?

-don't panic, I'm mostly harmless-
