i have created a shortcut menu named edtshort.mpr as shown
in the sample.app -- it is for cut, copy, paste
i entered the 'do editshort.mpr with this' command line in the rightclick event of an editbox
the problem is when i run the program and click in the editbox and then right click i get an error that 'no parameter statement is found' -- this also happens when i ran the sample app
i am using vfp 7 -- does anyone know what i need to do?
thanks in advance

At the top of your mpr do you have an lparameters or parameters statement? Because in your call you are saying 'do editshort.mpr with this' so VFP is trying to send in 'this' as an object parameter to mpr

Have you made your menu a top-level menu? Modify your menu and go to the general options and check the "top-level menu" option.

you were right, i did not have any parameters and
changed the command to just do edtshort.mpr and it works
fine
thanks
