When i use shortcut keys (eg windows commander is assigned to crtl + f12) the system sometimes freezes for 5-10 secs. If i press buttons nothing happens but when the computer goes back to normal it acts as if i did press the keys (eg. if i tried to minimise a window i would actually see it minimise when it went back to normal (the computer carries out all the commands after not during the incident))

I have the same problem, very annoying... it only happens to me when I use a shortcut key to open explorer. I usually think i missed the keys so i press it again, and then 10 seconds later they pop up.
