Hi I have searched the forum but with no luck I'm hopping someone can help me here.

The mission:
Create short code that will divert our main company line number to another external number a kind of out of hours thing. The idea is that the last person to leave the office enters a short code so that when someone calls our main number it will get diverted to a mobile number.

I’m new to Avaya but I’m about to embark on Avaya workshop course to complete the partner program. I have currently installed a system in our office and it’s due to go live and cutover soon and the night switch is a requirement.

Can anyone shed any light on this matter for quick easiest solution?

Cheers

System details:
IPO406 v2 – 3.2
VMPro
Sytem manager 5.2

If you're using the IPO's TimeProfiles you can put the night destination in incoming call route to the cell phone number.

You could also make a night service group and in there have a user forwarded to a cell phone.

Or you could use VM Pro to transfer the calls to a cell phone on specific times or when you change a variable in VM Pro.

Hi thanks for the reply. I'll look into the options however I need to get my head around them first as I dont fully understand. Can they be started via a short code?

yes, it can. how is a multiple possibility answer, which would require the entire picture to choose the best route.
