short code for locking/unlocking phones in hunt group

Hi..I have this customer who asked me if our IPO essential v9.0 possible to lock members of hunt group phones..Like for example, after office hours,they will hit this short code to lock all phone of a particular hunt group for security purposes..And disable it during office hours..Because on their previous pabx,they already doing it..Hoping for your kind reply..
 
It's already in the menu on the phones, or you can apply an outgoing call bar on a timed basis, so after hours and weekends it automatically blocks outgoing calls etc :)

 
Thanks amridlle..The customer has 50 users to be configured,thats to many to set their phone each..Is it possible to make a hunt group and make a short code for enabling/disabling call barring feature...??
 
Only using a button/code that disables an ARS which they all use, other users will need a different ARS to remain in use :)

As hinted, for a flexible solution a separate ARS for the agents and Disable ARS/Enable ARS shortcodes.

For fixed hours, apply user rights which bar outgoing outside hours according to a time profile (same time profile that sets the group to night service).

Also using the functions to automatically log out idle agents help at the end of the day if you have a system where agents need to login/logout.

The functions are all described in the Manager help for the curious.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
 
Is set hunt group out of service, similar to call barred..??? But thanks sizbut for Disable Ars Form/Enable ARS Form short code.. Didn't know that.. =)

No, it effects inbound calls only. Groups don't make calls users do, non of the group setting pertains to outbound calls :)

 
Oh that's great..!!!I've learned alot from you guys.. =)... Last question, is Disable Ars Form/Enable ARS Form short code can be used for hunt groups..???It didn't say on manager help..
 
You need to study up on how the system works really and then you will answer your own questions. The Help files and Manager PDF really will explain most things like this and how they interact :)
