Shdoclc.dll/navcancel when opening task shceduller

Any ideas?

opening scheduller from the systray i just get the ie action cancelled window.

Have ran SFC hav replaced the dll's below

Shdoclc.dll
Shd401lc.dll
Shdoc401.dll
Shdocvw.dll

OS is Win 98SE

Have also removed mstask from startup and ran it seperate ly when machine is totally finished booting

Any ideas?

Go to Start/Run, type msconfig, click OK/Startup, uncheck the boxes for 'Task Monitor' and 'Scheduling Agent', click OK, restart the computer when prompted, go back to the above and recheck the same boxes.

If no luck, use SFC to replace taskmon.exe and mstask.exe. The 1st goes in the Windows folder, the 2nd in the Windows/System folder.
