Folks,
I have a novell sever ttha has files on it which need to be accessed from a win2k pc. Does anyone know how i would go about this?

Thanks for the speedy reply John. The PC is actually running 95. The server is running novell, the pc has payroll software on it whicj=h was once networked. I need to be able to browse on novell which i dont know the first thing about?
I have aa crossover cable to connect the two machines but this doesnt seem to work, and suggestions?

I presume the novell client is already installed as this was set up a good few years ago when i was'nt here, and now i gotta figure it out.
Again, thanks for the help so far but i think i need a bit more

Hi,

What version of Novell netware is the server running? (type VERSION at the server console if you don't know).
Also what items are installed in Win2K? go to control panel -> network and dialup connections -> local area connection and choose properties then list the items that are in the list.
Finally does the Win95 computer have a red N icon in the system tray?
