Hi

I have 3 Netware 4.11 servers using DIG1 as my primary server and "preffered" server. Recently All DOS machines could not log in "Sharing violation error reading device network". I switched the preffered server in the net.cfg to point to the next server DIG2 and the DOS stations could log in. By doing this my colleague could also browse the NDS tree in the windows 32bit administrator. This was not possible before.

ANY IDEAS

THANKING YOU
Tony Marshall

Hi Tony,

If you switch to the last server, can they login? If so, I would start by replacing the NIC on DIG1.

What else sets DIG1 apart from the other servers? Does it connect to a different hub/switch? What is common or not common?

Lou

Have you rebooted the offending server?
