I have a user with 4 win98 workstations stored securely in a room and needs to access it from another room. He would like a setup similar to a switchbox setup where you use a single monitor/keyboard/mouse for a number of computers. The hitch... the computer is approximatley 150 feet away... we can use fiber but I don't know what's available out there...

any ideas?

Do a google search for "KVM switches" and you should find several applications that allow sharing across IP. Ed Fair

This could also be done with one of many software apps.
PCAnywhere is a good one for using accross a network. Good luck, and Happy Computing

Thanks for the help... unfortunately software isn't an option since the company in charge of the network will not allow us to go that route. I did find a way - I'll be using the PC Extender units from Cybex...
