I have attempted to share my Zip drive on our LAN with other computers running Windows 98. Before I upgraded to Windows 2000, there was no problem. Now I get a prompt for a user name and password when I try to access the Zip drive from another computer. I checked the permissions and I've got full access enabled for "Everyone".

Does anyone know how get rid of the user name password prompt?

this is a common problem with win2000 and 98. first of all when you say "everyone" that means enabled acounts, not anon accounts. by default the guest account is diabled, even so you still have to log in as guest. so when an unidentified connection comes in win 2k rejects it. make your win98 ppl logon under a user account setup on the win2k box. A user account that has access to the shared drive of course.
