I need some help from everyone on if this idea is even possible. I have a nice spreadsheet that a client gave us that we would like to "share" between the two companies via our webserver so both parties can edit/add data.

I tried saving the spreadsheet as HTML with interactivity and it looks awesome on the web and you can add/change data on the cells but unfortunately you can't save the spreadsheet. All you can do is export the spreadsheet to your computer.

I need a way (if possible) to be able to have both parties work on the spreadsheet on our webserver so the data can be updated by both parties on same spreadsheet.

Is this type of "interactivity" possible?

I have been using Excel spreadsheets on the intranet for some time now allowing users to use the auto filter to obtain information but I have not found a way to collect data back.

I think that the HMTL is a picture of the sheet that you can interrogate but not alter. We circulate Production and Financial information in this way.

If there is a way then I'm sure someone on this forum will come up with the answer but I suspect It is not possible.

Regards

Keith
